Data deletion

This page walks through removing your data from the Aevin platform step by step: disconnecting ad account access on its own, and deleting the whole account on its own. Timelines are exact.

1Disconnect an ad account

This is the fastest way to stop the data exchange with an ad platform without touching anything else. It works the same for Meta, Google Ads and TikTok Ads.

  • sign in to the platform and open "My ads," then the "Accounts" tab;
  • under the connection card, click "Disconnect."

What happens immediately:

  • the access token is deleted from encrypted storage, and the platform loses any ability to reach your account;
  • statistics stop updating;
  • scheduled but unconfirmed ad changes get canceled.

Statistics already collected stay in place so you keep your report history. It gets deleted 12 months after disconnection, or immediately if you ask us to in writing.

You can do the same thing from the platform's side. Access stops immediately in every case, and each platform has its own path:

  • Meta: your Facebook account settings, the "Business Integrations" section, find the AFM app and remove it;
  • Google Ads: myaccount.google.com/permissions, find Aevin and remove access;
  • TikTok Ads: TikTok Ads Manager, account settings, the authorised apps section, revoke access for Aevin.

2Delete your entire account

The account is deleted inside the platform: Settings, the «Account deletion» section. You confirm by typing your own email, and it cannot be undone. Access to ad accounts is revoked on the platforms' side, not only on ours.

If you cannot sign in, write from the address you use to sign in to office@afmdigital.com with the subject "Delete account." We need the sender's address so we do not delete someone else's account at a stranger's request.

What gets deleted:

  • your account, name, profile picture;
  • training progress, quiz answers, submitted work;
  • ad account connections and their tokens;
  • collected statistics for accounts, campaigns, and creatives;
  • leads in the CRM module and their history;
  • files you uploaded yourself: creatives in the library and swipe file images, together with their thumbnails;
  • configured automations and their run logs.

Timeline: up to 30 days from your request. Usually faster, but 30 days is what we commit to.

An organization where you are the only member is deleted together with you and all of its data. An organization with other members is not affected by your leaving: its data belongs to it, not to you personally. If you are its last owner, the platform will not let you delete the account until ownership is handed over, otherwise the organization would be left with nobody in charge.

3What remains after deletion

  • subscription payment records: tax law requires us to keep these, usually for several years;
  • anonymized entries in system logs that cannot be traced back to you: up to 90 days;
  • database backups: overwritten on the normal schedule, up to 30 days; selective deletion from them is not technically possible;
  • your conversations with the AI agent and the support chat as held by the model vendors: on our side they are deleted along with your account, while at Anthropic and Google they live by those vendors' own retention periods, which at Anthropic is up to 30 days. We cannot speed that up: those are not our systems.

4Data from people who submitted leads to you

If someone submitted a lead on your landing page and asks to have their data deleted, they need to come to you: in this part, you are the data controller, and the platform only stores the data on your instructions. You can delete a lead yourself in the "Clients" section.

If that person contacts us directly, we will redirect them to you and let you know.
